This position offers a salary range of $90,000–$105,000, with final compensation based on location, education, and experience.

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Services Regional Manager plays a key role in supporting, managing, and expanding Owens & Minor’s supply chain service offerings across an assigned region. This role is 70–80% operations-focused and 20–30% sales-focused, partnering closely with the Director of Service Line Strategy, Area Sales Directors, and internal leadership to optimize current services and support new business opportunities.

Following the sale of a supply chain service or product, the Regional Manager is responsible for managing the client relationship, ensuring delivery of contracted services, and demonstrating the value of additional O&M offerings. Services may include advanced logistics, inventory management, and technology-based solutions, supported by regional teammates under this role’s leadership.

The Regional Manager oversees Managers, Leads, Analysts, Technicians, and Specialists, ensuring professional staffing, workforce development, and alignment of resources to meet customer needs. This role develops engagement plans, manages performance through agreed-upon KPIs, and interfaces heavily with healthcare customers, including hospital executives.

Core Responsibilities

Partner with O&M teammates and leadership to ensure strong customer relationships, continuity of services, and profitability. Integrate O&M service offerings into customer operations where appropriate. Collaborate with the Director of Service Line Strategy and O&M leadership to develop strategies for communicating, selling, and servicing current and future O&M products and services. Track and report key performance indicators to measure engagement success; identify issues and remove obstacles to ensure optimal performance. Meet with strategic customers to develop business and implementation plans. Lead, plan, and coordinate O&M efforts to achieve customer and organizational goals and drive profitable growth. Manage engagements for all assigned logistics, inventory management, technology services, and projects. Build infrastructure to rapidly deploy new initiatives. Ensure engagements are professionally staffed; hire, train, and manage regional teammates. Conduct annual performance reviews. Communicate engagement status to customers and account management. Support Quarterly Business Reviews and ensure invoices align with service scope and agreements. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and ensure consistent communication. Partner with the Director of Supply Chain Performance to develop SOWs and contracts supporting proposals. Manage RFPs for assigned service areas; support identification and qualification of potential logistics, technology, and service customers. Assist in creating internal and external sales materials to promote O&M service offerings.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field).
  • MBA, CPA, or CPIM preferred.

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in logistics/supply chain operations, inventory management, project management, or strategic account management.
  • Healthcare experience in a large hospital or multi-hospital system strongly preferred.
