Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Supply Chain Planning Manager located in  US Texas Austin Research Blvd.

Reporting to the Sr. Director Materials the Supply Chain Planning Manager, will be the Responsible for developing, directing and coordinating material planning activities. Enhance customer service levels possible by balancing supply and demand.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Directs the team in the use of best practices in the daily execution of finished goods and WIP planning
  • Manage, coach and mentor a team. Works with the team on continuous development and performance management.
  • Directs activities of Material Planners and Buyers to ensure that inventory level and turn goals are achieved, including reduction of back orders and enhancing customer service.
  • Meets with Senior Management to obtain strategic information that could impact the forecast. Works with team to modify the forecast for historical and environmental events. Works closely with different departments to accurately develop and maintain an accurate forecast.
  • Hold cross-functional meetings to review the Supply and Demand plan
  • Review issues and make recommendations that deal with long-term constraints, customer service levels, inventory targets, the current forecast, and backlog.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team,

  • 10 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong communication skill
  • Supervisor previous experience
  • Knowledge of the MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents and data
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, boards of directors and customers.
  • Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills
