The Role and Impact
Join Intel as a Supply Chain Planning Analyst - Intel Contract Employee and play a pivotal role in driving our global supply chain excellence. In this highly impactful position, you will collaborate across teams to optimize supply chain planning activities, ensuring seamless execution of schedules, forecasts, and capacity requirements that directly support Intel's business strategies. Your efforts will enable efficient inventory management, informed decision-making, and alignment with customer needs, contributing to Intel's success in delivering innovative products that shape the future of technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize supply chain planning schedules, forecasts, materials, build plans, and capacity requirements to meet customer demands.

  • Conduct detailed 'what-if' scenario planning to assess engineering, product, process, and inventory strategies as needed.

  • Analyze and resolve inventory challenges, including timing, depth, and efficient flow, to support both short-term and long-term business objectives.

  • Provide quantitative and qualitative inputs to demand management to balance supply and demand constraints effectively.

  • Plan, prepare, issue, and control supply chain schedules and materials requirements while ensuring timely execution.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure streamlined material management and uninterrupted supply operations.

  • Evaluate supply chain capacity needs and capabilities to support Intel's strategic business goals.

  • Interface with subcontractors to negotiate contracts, pricing, and performance, ensuring alignment with Intel's expectations.

  • Recommend solutions to supply, demand, and contingency scenarios to influence key business decisions.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related specialized field, or equivalent experience per business needs.

  • Proficiency in supply chain planning systems, production planning tools, and data analysis techniques.

  • 2+ years of experience with semiconductor supply chain complexities and optimization strategies.

  • Technical expertise in supply-demand analysis and lean management principles.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions to resolve group problem-solving challenges.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Intel supply chain planning experience, especially materials planning or division planning experience.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Experience in influencing and driving strategic business decisions through data-driven insights.

  • Familiarity with leading supply chain or production planning software tools.

  • Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and achieving operational excellence.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $52,000.00-$200,000.00

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role
