Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Supply Chain (SCM) Optimization Analyst to join our team in Smyrna, TN.
We are seeking a highly autonomous and analytical individual to join our Smyrna facility as a SCM Optimization Analyst for Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL). This role emphasizes data driven problem solving, process improvement, and driving operational efficiency across the supply chain organization.
A Day in the Life:

Data & Analytics:
Conducting in‑depth data analysis to diagnose performance issues and identify improvement opportunities
Identifying and addressing data gaps that impact operational decision-making
Supporting data democratization initiatives to enhance business synergies across Nissan’s supply chain
Developing and enhancing dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations
Process Improvement:
Conducting process flow analyses and recommending solutions for improvement
Participating in cross‑functional problem‑solving activities
Automating business critical and routine tasks to improve overall efficiency
Operational Engagement & Collaboration:
Participating in Gemba visits to understand current‑state operations, constraints, and bottlenecks
Building strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners
Providing constructive feedback to support a culture of continuous improvement
Regional & Global Support:
Supporting strategic initiatives that align with functional, regional, and global supply chain objectives
Who We’re Looking for:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree with internship experience in supply chain, business analytics, or other business-related discipline
0-2 years or more of related experience
High-level proficiency of MS Office applications
Familiarity with Snowflake, SQL, and other data visualization tools like Power BI, Python, or R
Understanding of basic statistical analysis like regression, correlation, etc.
Ability to work on-site in Smyrna, TN
Desired:
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to various levels of business leadership
Basic financial acumen
Ability to work effectively across internal and external teams
Ability to independently coordinate multiple supply chain-related projects simultaneously
Ability to travel up to 10%
