What you will do:

The Partnership Product Center Global Supply Chain team is responsible for working closely with international partners and suppliers to ensure we deliver high-quality parts that meet our customer's dynamic needs. Our team champions a collaborative approach that thrives in a fast paced, highly demanding environment. We emphasize the utilization of Continuous Improvement using the CORE operating system; while coaching and supporting the supply base to ensure they meet our quality standards and achieve success in their lean journey.

The role of Supply Chain Manager, which is a hybrid role, based in East Hartford, CT is both exciting & challenging. In this role to be successful you will need to build efficient working relationships across many P&W functional groups; Supply Chain, Quality, Materials, Engineering, Production Readiness, MCL, ESA etc. This role specifically will be focused mainly on suppliers based within Japan to ensure we enable them to deliver quality parts ahead of the program need. Analytical and dynamic interpersonal skills are desired and strong communication skills are a must. Building strong collaborative relationships, both internally and externally, is one of the many keys to success within this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing a team of Account specialists who manage PO/SA release process from end to end.
  • Develop delivery assurance plans aligned with demand requirements from the individual programs, Participate in Business Reviews which ensures the long-term business delivery performance objectives are achieved.
  • Develop the Partnership Program Organization (PPO) relationship to ensure source selection alignment to VSM strategy. Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Develop and execute staffing plans to support the long-term sourcing strategy. Ensure Export Control Compliance.
  • Ensure that our suppliers are in sync with our delivery requirements to ensure adherence to the plan and remove any roadblocks that get in the way.
  • Travel requirements vary between 5-10% annually.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors' Degree in supply chain, business, or other related field and 10 years of experience in supply chain management, operations, project management, engineering, manufacturing; OR an advanced Degree with 7 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
