Position Overview

 

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee the efficient receipt and management of raw materials and components essential for our outdoor roller screens and awnings production. This role is critical in ensuring timely deliveries, cost-effective transportation, and seamless coordination with suppliers and internal teams.

Additionally, this role will work across our brands to identify savings opportunities, working with our Global Procurement team. The individual will assist in creating the strategy for procurement across the brands including vendor management and will oversee strategic procurement projects, ensuring execution per plan. This role will be responsible for helping to identify new vendors, and work with brands and engineering teams to onboard them.

What you'll do

 

Shipment Coordination: Manage the receipt of raw materials and components from suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to manufacturing facilities.

  • Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, delays, or quality issues, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels across facilities and coordinate with buyers and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing production delays.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all inbound shipments comply with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • International Deliveries: Manage international deliveries from suppliers, including container tracking, and customs clearance working in collaboration with our customs brokers and buyers.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze inbound logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing inbound logistics processes, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.

 

Who you are

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inbound logistics or supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with logistics software and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and international shipping procedures is advantageous.
