Supply Chain Manager (f/m)

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for developing and executing strategies that optimize the entire supply chain, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions to deliver operational excellence. The role is responsible for procurement activities, production planning and SIOP management and execution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and align with company objectives

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery of materials and services

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration and alignment across functions

  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and implement initiatives to boost productivity and effectiveness

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to achieve high performance and foster professional growth

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Minimum of 5 years in supply chain leadership roles, including prior supervisory experience

  • Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to attract, develop and retain an outstanding team of performers; Ability to get job done through others

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred

  • Skills:

    • Strategic Planning and execution

    • Inventory Management expertise

    • Strong leadership and team development skills

    • Ability to facilitate and coordinate problem-solving activities internal and external to assigned functional areas

    • Advanced data analysis and problem-solving capabilities

    • Excellent communication across all organizational levels

    • Negotiation skills for supplier and contract management

    • Technology proficiency in supply chain management systems

    • Financial acumen for budgeting and cost control

    • Risk management strategies to ensure continuity and resilience

    • Outstanding communication skills

    • Strong understanding of finance

    • Self motivated and results oriented

    • Ability to design and implement strategy

    • Ability to understand the total business picture and effectively collaborate with other business functions as required

    • Able and willing to challenge the status quo and effectively champions change, both internal and external to functional areas
