The Opportunity

Supply Chain Manager Leads demand planning, product life cycle planning, production scheduling, and inventory management.

This position works out of our St.Paul, MN  location in the AVD Vascular division.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate Business Unit S&OP processes for site and in conjunction with divisional teams
  • Provide direction to demand, supply for new product introduction  
  • Work with Operations to ensure product availability for all products manufactured.
  • Establish and continuously improve planning & scheduling business processes 
  • Manage planning of product transfers to/from other manufacturing sites
  • Lead effort in optimizing inventory level
  • Maintain relationships and benchmark with sister sites to continually look for improvement opportunities for planning.
  • Lead effort and provide directions on achieving high product availability while minimizing finished goods inventory level.
  • Provides leadership to Supply Chain Professionals through setting goals which align to annual operating plans and managing the execution of goals through coaching and mentoring.
  • Develops a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, cross functional/cross divisional collaboration and goal planning and execution.
  • Hires and retains a diverse, highly qualified staff and provides ongoing performance feedback. Maintains a safe and professional work environment.
  • Lead effort in achieving site-wide planning/manufacturing goals for adherence to supply plans, production schedules, and manufacturing turn-around time.
  • Establish process to monitor and prioritize lots throughout the supply chain, coordinating efforts to prioritize production and supply chain activities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) in a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 7-9 years of related work experience.
  • A good understanding of specified functional area: Business Planning Financial management Inventory management and optimization Capacity planning.
  • Purchasing and negotiation skills

The base pay for this position is

$99,300.00 – $198,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
