Role purpose

We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to strengthen our escalators business across the EMEA region, with a strong focus on supply chain activities and sourcing processes related to service and escalator parts. The role will support key stakeholders and ensure efficient, data-driven sourcing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sourcing activities for escalator-related parts and services within the EMEA scope.
  • Support supply chain and project requirements by ensuring timely, cost-effective sourcing solutions.
  • Support and optimize sourcing and procurement processes, ensuring alignment with internal standards.
  • Contribute to supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management.
  • Follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders on open purchase orders, quotations, and deliveries.
  • Support supplier onboarding activities, including data validation and part creation in sourcing and ERP systems.
  • Analyze, maintain, and report sourcing and supply chain data to support decision-making and transparency.

Required Profile

  • Proven experience in sourcing and/or supply chain roles, preferably in an industrial or service environment.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and sourcing processes, ideally in a project-based environment.
  • Mandatory experience or solid knowledge of the escalators business.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data.
  • Good proficiency in Excel and familiarity with sourcing or ERP tools (e.g. JDE or similar systems).
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and support multiple stakeholders.
  • Proactive, structured, and results-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have / Plus

  •       Knowledge of EPC data management processes.
  •       Experience in international or regional (EMEA) sourcing organizations.
  •       Experience working with international suppliers and stakeholders.
