Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Management team is based in Indianapolis and is made up of Manufacturing Engineers, Planning and Delivery Leaders, Buyers and Supplier Quality professionals. Our team partners with our global supply chain and our internal stakeholders to deliver the hardware required to meet the needs of all our engine assembly plants and repair and overhaul facilities.  We are responsible for ensuring the parts arrive on time in full to our exact quality requirements.

What you’ll be doing:

This role will support the deliverables of the Planning and Delivery team on key projects that align with the following role responsibilities:

  • Business continuity/risk management – work with our team and the supplier to ensure risks are identified and properly mitigated
  • Delivery - manage supplier delivery performance in assigned commodities
  • Quality – monitor supplier quality performance and work with team to focus on real fixes to the problems
  • Process and procedures - ensure adherence to the Rolls-Royce procurement process and procedures whilst looking for areas where things can be streamlined

Relevant majors:

Business, Finance, or Supply Chain.

Standing/Graduation eligibility: Must be attending a 4-year university and returning to school after the internship.

Minimum GPA: 3.0.

Work authorization eligibility: To be considered, you must also be a U.S. Citizen. There is no visa sponsorship for this position.
