Supply Chain Intern

Position Overview

Alarm.com, a rapidly expanding entrepreneurial technology company, is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to join our fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience building and improving solutions that support an agile and rapidly evolving supply chain. The intern will work closely with supply chain leadership and cross-functional teams to drive meaningful operational improvements.

 

Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Intern will:

· Learn, understand, and identify opportunities for process improvement across key supply chain functions, including order management, RMA management, international shipping, and customer support.

· Analyze and validate inventory data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and support decision-making.

· Identify and help implement AI and automation technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in daily supply chain operations.

· Collaborate closely with the Manager to evaluate and prioritize business opportunities, ultimately selecting and executing a project with material impact on supply chain efficiency, cost, or service levels.

· Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to support project execution and operational goals.

 

Requirements

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

· Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Management, or a related field.

· Interest or experience in supply chain process improvement areas such as forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, cost management, and service level performance.

· Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data and problem solving.

· Ability to work effectively across multiple teams within Alarm.com and with partner networks.

· Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

· Ability to think strategically while executing on tactical tasks; operate autonomously.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

· Calm under pressure, adaptable, and enthusiastic about new technologies.

· Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
