Job Description:

As a Supply Chain Information Analyst, you will play a key role in optimising Microchip’s end-to-end supply chain operations. This position is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience who are ready to take the next step in their career. You will help ensure supply continuity, quality, and cost-effectiveness for our products and services, directly impacting key business metrics such as inventory, on-time delivery, quality, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Optimization

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data to enhance supply chain operations. Provision of information, trends and insights to key individuals within the supply chain function.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards and reports using advanced data extraction and visualisation tools.
  • Analyse large datasets and data warehouses to provide visibility into inventory management, revenue, SIOP, delivery, and customer metrics.

Systems & Tools

  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft AX2012 or similar) for supply chain and planning functions.
  • Leverage Tableau, Workflow automation tools, Visual/graph databases, SQL for data analysis and process improvement.
  • Support the implementation and integration of new software solutions including AI tools for planning and operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Finance, Factory Operations, Information Systems (IS), and Marketing teams across multiple levels in the organisation.
  • Translate complex data into actionable strategic insights for executive management.

Operational Support

  • Perform order scheduling, levelling, WIP tracking, MRP analysis, and inventory control.
  • Develop and provide training in use of tools and reporting developed.
  • Participate in meetings to represent the Global Supply Chain Metrics Team.
  • Stay current on technological, economic, and industry trends affecting supply chain and market opportunities.
  • Support and cross-train with colleagues to ensure team flexibility and resilience.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Essential:

  • 3-4 years of professional experience in supply chain analytics, planning, or related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, STEM, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Tableau, SQL databases.
  • Understanding of supply chain fundamentals.
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to engage with many individuals at multiple levels across the globe.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Graph databases (Memgraph or similar)
  • ERP/MRP systems (ideally Microsoft AX or similar)
  • Experience of supply chain analytics within complex multi-national environment. Ideally in manufacturing/electronics or Hi-tech business.
