The Opportunity
Roche Diagnostics (DIA) Colombia is looking for the Supply Chain Head, based in Bogotá, Colombia. This role will achieve strategic, financial and operational targets through strategic and tactical supply chain analysis, planning and management by owning the Supply Sub chapter, leading with purpose under our VACC to develop talent.
Responsibilities
Develop Supply as a productive unit: Generate financial and operational value through efficiencies, OPEX investment returns, and networking capital improvements while maintaining strong customer focus and risk management.
Ensure product availability and inventory optimization: Manage equipment, inventory, write-offs, and OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance while anticipating supply/demand risks.
Develop talent and organizational culture: Promote high-performance teams within a safe, motivational environment.
Lead Purchase strategy and vendor negotiations: Develop the Purchase area with strategic and financial goals, lead key vendor/supplier negotiations for Roche's interests, and coordinate with Purchase to Pay RSS team for compliant, efficient cycles (Sagrilaf/Sarlaft).
Improve Order to Cash cycle: Drive Order Management initiatives to enhance operational outcomes for Roche and customers through automation, risk control, and process improvements.
Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence: Generate business impact through process excellence initiatives that promote agility, efficiencies, risk control, and financial results.
Manage compliance, external commerce, and export control: Consolidate External Commerce role in Supply DIA; ensure legal frameworks for customs and import processes; act as LECO (Local Export Control Officer) for DIA Colombia; maintain ICFR controls and quality assurance; oversee SAP master processes; manage internal/external audits; support regional/subregional priorities and projects.
Who you are
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required; post-graduate degree desired and high English language proficiency.
Leadership experience: Minimum 7+ years in similar leading roles managing 100M+ USD sales, leading teams of 15+ people in matrix and PL3 operational environments.
5+ years experience in pharma, medical device, or diagnostics industry with cold chain management experience.
End-to-end supply chain cycle management with strong negotiation skills, third-party vendor/operations management, and proven ability to achieve Operational Excellence through OKRs/KPIs.
Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, analytical financials, and compliance environments with ability to manage regulatory requirements.
ERP SAP expertise, process automation, and systematization capabilities.
Preferred
Experience leading supply responsibilities and/or projects with LATAM Scope, or as Cluster lead including Colombia.
