The Position

The Opportunity:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join Roche Diagnostics.
In this role you will work with multiple stakeholders to guarantee customers are served with the highest level of satisfaction while complying with local and global regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning: Manages inventory and inventory levels to satisfy customers' needs and minimize losses/write-offs as product database

  • Managing the efficiency of the inventory levels, inventory analysis, forecasting activities, and performing the write-off calculation and control. Support the plan and calculation of minimum inventories. Accountable for ensuring availability of product needed to fulfill the on-time supply of according to service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Creates and maintains the material master database, and the SAP environment to guarantee proper inventory management.

  • Develops supply plan based on affiliate and statistical forecasts and ensures plan’s accuracy.

  • Supports the Commercial areas to align on product life cycle management/recalls, and planning for phase-in and phase-out.

  •  Drives the escalation process for supply and demand planning issues.

  • Owns accuracy and continuous optimization of key parameters and leads bottleneck management, allocation, reserve and scrap mitigation across the network.

  • Responsible for the claim handling within suppliers.

3PL Liaison: 

  • Become the primary point of Contact for the 3PL.

  • Lead the collaboration with 3PL for quality and any further negotiations needed.

  • Support on quality topics and interactions with the Quality department & 3PL - analyses the quality of delivery of goods and forwarding cases to the Quality team, helping priorities them, etc.

  • Supports the maintenance of the product database in respect with legal and compliance requirements.

Additional Day to day activities:

  • Can also act as a back-up to the Order Management department when it relates to allocation of materials, bottlenecks, order processing and any other activities related to it.

  • Acts as the Key User role in SAP and any other Supply Chain Systems.

  • Provide tools and services that support our customers with up-to-date solutions to facilitate their daily business.

  • Works with focus on the customer, performing visits, supporting projects and interaction between Roche and its customers.

  • Ensure accuracy in all activities: inbound transport, outbound transport, transport mode, data/information, warehouse rules and procedures, material management, distribution planning, etc.

Who you are:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Supply chain planning and logistics positions, ideally medical devices or pharmaceutical industry

  • University degree is required, preferably in Industrial Engineering and Management or Logistics.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP-preferred) and good skills in Microsoft Office and Google suit.

  • Able to adapt and respond to internal and external changes.

  • Strong experience in internal processes, drive process improvements and set the priorities

  • Customer Oriented.

  • Collaborative, demonstrates sense of urgency and collective ownership.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work with different stakeholders, Agile mindset.

  • High level fluency in Hebrew and English.
