The Team – Supply Chain Advisory & Transformation

We partner with organizations ranging from growth-stage and middle-market companies to leading enterprise brands to design and execute transformation initiatives across supply chain planning, operations, inventory, procurement, and enabling technology.

Our team supports clients through strategic assessments, operating model design, process transformation, technology enablement, and execution support. We bring an advisory mindset with a practical, hands-on approach, helping clients move from idea to implementation in ways that improve service, reduce cost, increase agility, and strengthen decision-making.

Your Impact

  • Work with a diverse set of commercial clients ranging from growth and mid-size companies to leading enterprise Fortune 100 brands.
  • Deliver strategic advice and practical solutions to executive leaders on how to improve supply chain performance, resilience, and value realization from transformation investments.
  • Facilitate client working sessions ranging from executive and steering committee meetings to cross-functional process workshops, requirements sessions, and solution evaluations.
  • Lead current state assessments across supply chain functions (e.g., demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, S&OP/IBP, procurement, fulfillment, operations) and build improvement roadmaps.
  • Translate business goals into actionable transformation initiatives, including process, operating model, governance, data, and technology recommendations.
  • Leverage a “roll-up your sleeves” style to support both strategy development and execution of client initiatives, including pilots, PMO/workstream leadership, and implementation readiness.
  • Manage and coach project teams to deliver complex engagements with high quality, strong client experience, and measurable outcomes.
  • Support business development efforts across all stages (market analysis, client sourcing, relationship building, proposal development, solution shaping, and oral presentations).
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with client stakeholders at all levels that are based on integrity, trust, and delivery excellence.
  • Contribute thought leadership on the implications of market trends such as AI-enabled planning, supply chain digitization, network volatility, data quality, operating model evolution, and risk/resilience.
  • Help develop and scale internal capabilities, methods, and reusable assets that strengthen the firm’s service offerings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of progressive experience across supply chain and operations, including a combination of:
    • Client-facing experience in a professional services/consulting organization, and
    • Relevant industry experience in supply chain, operations, planning, procurement, manufacturing, or distribution
  • Demonstrated track record helping companies undergo supply chain and/or operations transformations with measurable business impact
  • Functional experience in several of the following areas:
    • Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, and S&OP / IBP process design and improvement
    • Supply chain operating model design, governance, KPI frameworks, and decision rights
    • Process optimization and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, BPR)
    • Supply chain technology enablement (planning platforms, ERP integration, APS/IBP tools, reporting/analytics)
  • PMO/workstream leadership for transformation programs, implementations, or multi-functional initiatives
  • Performance improvement tied to service, inventory, working capital, forecast accuracy, cost, throughput, and productivity
  • Experience assessing current-state processes, identifying root causes, and building pragmatic future-state roadmaps
  • Prior experience working directly with and advising Director/VP/C-Level executives, including presenting complex ideas and facilitating executive workshops
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, communication skills, and emotional intelligence
  • Experience providing mentorship and leadership to more junior team members
  • Track record of managing projects and/or workstreams to successful completion in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time (as client needs require)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration and/or MS in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
  • Progressive responsibility in managing client relationships and achievement against business development goals
  • Experience in one or more industries such as retail, consumer products, manufacturing, industrial, distribution, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Experience with leading supply chain planning ecosystems (e.g., Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, o9, SAP, Oracle, ketteQ, or Anaplan)
  • Experience developing business cases, value realization frameworks, and executive-ready transformation roadmaps
  • Strong point of view on how data, AI, and automation can improve planning and operational decision-making
  • PMP, APICS/ASCM (CPIM/CSCP), Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications

Position Leveling Note (Manager / Senior Manager)

  • This role may be hired at the Manager or Senior Manager level depending on experience, client leadership capability, and business development track record.
  • Manager candidates typically demonstrate strong delivery leadership, functional depth, and emerging client/account development capabilities.
  • Senior Manager candidates typically demonstrate executive presence, end-to-end engagement leadership, team development, solution shaping, and consistent contribution to business development and practice growth.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Highspring believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure to be between the range below. The individual may also be eligible for a variety of bonus and financial incentives based on individual and company performance.
