Main Purpose:

Provide operational and analytical support in purchasing management and supply planning. This ensures product availability through supplier monitoring, price comparisons, negotiation assistance, and inventory control. This role is key to maintaining smooth operations and delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

The core responsibility of the Supply Chain Analyst involves aiding supply planning for saleable products. They handle all documentation, reports, notifications, and records associated with procurement activities across time. The position also requires proposing process improvements founded on technical analysis.

The main activities in detail include:

- Offer assistance in the reports needed to meet the requirements of internal and external customers.

- Support the management of acquiring prior import licenses, pre-shipment processes, and documentation related to product unloading at terminals until closure and compliance with current legislation or regulations.

- Support records related to biofuels and lubricants.

- Process, track, and record purchase orders/spreadsheets related to imports and exports to ensure payment/collection from related suppliers/customers.

- Maintain backups and archives that ensure the traceability of purchases over time.

- Generate information to assist in inventory planning.

- Prepare contracts concerning supplies and services.

- Ensure compliance with internal policies, control standards, and audits on supply activities.

- Collaborate with various departments to efficiently implement supply chain strategies.

Education:

Student or graduate in Comex, Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or administrative careers with a commercial focus oriented toward internal/external clients.

Training. Language skills and computer tools:

- English: Medium/ Advanced.

- Portuguese: Basic.

- Microsoft Office skills: Advanced.

- Outlook and virtual work environment skills: Advanced.

- ERP skills: Advanced.

Experience:

1-3 years of work experience in similar or related positions.

Knowledge, skills and proficiencies:

- Essential comprehension of multimodal logistics (river, land, and air) and INCOTERMS linked to the trade of goods.

- Essential comprehension of IMPORT and EXPORT procedures for goods.

- Fundamental understanding of commercial agreements concerning supply, terminals, and transportation.

- Analytical, technical, and writing skills.

- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.

- Skill in leading priorities, functioning under pressure, and finding solutions to problems.

- Advanced organizational skills (mandatory).

- Communication skills (mandatory).

- Mathematical proficiency or numerical skill to comprehend, apply, and connect numbers, interpret information, and solve problems.

- Open to continuous learning and software management.
