We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our European team in our office in Diegem/Brussels.

As a Supply Chain Analyst within the Central Supply Chain Analysis team, you will play a key role in driving the optimisation of Packaged Gases (PG), Liquid Bulk, and Microbulk distribution and PG operations across the European Industrial Gases supply chain.

You will design, implement, and evaluate network and operational strategies, business rules, and analytical tools to support supply chain, commercial, and retail functions. You will transform data into actionable insights and present structured recommendations to senior stakeholders to support sound decision‑making and ensure follow‑through.

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will:

  • Analyse supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Lead optimisation initiatives across liquid and packaged gases supply chains.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, commercial, and IT.

  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and KPIs to support business visibility.

  • Conduct scenario modelling, optimisation studies, and cost–benefit analyses to support strategic decisions.

  • Lead and facilitate productivity sessions with different European sub‑regions.

  • Apply advanced mathematical optimisation techniques in partnership with IT and digital teams.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance and further automate analytical tools supporting supply chain optimisation.

  • Ensure supply chain operations comply with regulatory frameworks and sustainability requirements.

  • Prepare, visualise, and present insights, models, and recommendations to senior leadership.

To be successful in this role, you'll at least need!

Education: Master’s degree in (Business) Engineering, Economics, Data Science, or a related analytical field.

  • Structured problem‑solving and evidence‑based decision‑making capabilities.

  • High level of autonomy; proactive and self-driven.

  • Excellent attention to detail with strong commitment to data accuracy.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level).

  • Experience with data analytics tools and visualisation platforms such as QlikSense.

  • Ability to work with advanced analytical tools; Python and Machine Learning knowledge considered a strong asset.

Languages

  • Fluency in English is required.

  • A second relevant European language is desired.

Valid Belgian work permit (if not an EU citizen).
