In this role you will be responsible for Supply and Inventory Planning, in Medium & Low Speed Division in Accelleron Switzerland AG, ensuring the right balance between demand and supply, with optimised inventory levels, are consistently achieved, and supply risks are identified and addressed.

Reporting to the Global Planning & Fulfilment Manager, this role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to balance costs with customer demand and handle supply chain disruptions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collect all data and generate a constrained supply plan, establish and lead rough-cut capacity planning and linking it to the demand plan to develop and execute short- and long-term supply plans. Analize the output and coordinate with production and provide inputs into Global IBP cycle for supply risks and constraints.
  • Through deep-dive analysis, identify capacity constraints, recommend both short-term and long-term solutions and mitigation plan to remove bottlenecks in collaboration with production teams to align supply with demand.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and disruptions, and provide inputs into the development of the contingency plans. Identify key root causes for non- performance, and drive improvement initiatives
  • Determine impact of supply plan on expected inventory levels. Monitor and coordinate inventory optimization actions to prevent shortages or excess, coordinate cross functional inventory reduction activities, and financial risk assessments for decisions relating to inventory. Conduct root case analysis when necessary.
  • Coordinate and track progress with Production Team and category management for outsourcing (external workbenches). Collaborate with EW vendors and Category Managers to optimize capacity and ensure material availability.
  • Generate reports on supply and demand data, inventory levels, and supply chain performance for management. Provide inputs into IBP cycle for supply risks and constraints.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 



Your Background:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Project Management Certification or equivalent is a plus. 
  • Proven experience (8+ years)  in S&OP demand, supply and inventory planning, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns and issues, develop creative solutions and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience with supply chain management software and advanced functions in Power BI and Microsoft Excel is required. Ability to build complex data models from different data sources.
  • Understanding of market trends and financial impacts of supply chain operations on the business,  and proven track record for implementation of supply chain best practices.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
