Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Specialist (Associate or Experienced) to join our Supplier Quality team located in Red Oak, TX!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists with audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products. Documents audit and assessment results.
  • Inspects or verifies less complex products for compliance.
  • Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues.
  • Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.
  • Documents and reports audit and assessment results. Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.
  • Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
  • Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
  • Resolves routine issues and concerns.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 1 year of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
  • More than 1 year of experience have collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; and developing conclusions
  • More than 1 year of experience in inspection and inspection techniques

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • More than 1 year of experience performing quality inspections on machined parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
  • Experience inspecting aerospace wire harnesses

Summary pay range for associate level (Level 2): USD 83,300 – 112,700
Summary pay range for experienced level (Level 3): USD 102,000 – 138,000
