Job Summary

Provide support of Quality activities of our organization’s supply base by evaluating, approving, onboarding, and continuously monitoring supplier quality activities.

Job Description

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Approval:
    • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate their quality systems, processes, and products
  • Supplier Procurement:
    • Create and support receiving inspection plans and activities including material documentation, process evaluation, and physical measurements.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Develop and maintain supplier quality management plans that define expectations, requirements, and performance targets
    • Develop Quality Control Plans and PPAP’s for supplier parts
  • Supplier Nonconformance:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
    • Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality performance through data, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Support ISO9000 self-assessment audits, external customer, and agency audits
  • Support overall Quality with performance metrics to measure, report and act on Quality indicators.
  • Ensure the suppliers comply with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, contributing to the overall integrity of the supply chain.
  • Adapt and abide by the 3Q6s principles for continuous improvement
  • Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required to support supplier activities, audits, and issue resolution as needed.

Experience/Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Good Leadership and communication skills
  • Good Process management skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills and methodologies.
  • ASQ Certification is desired but not required.
  • Spanish as a second language is beneficial.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Ability to resolve problems and recognize opportunities with little direction.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a US citizen for positions in the North Mankato facility.

Education:

  • Associates Degree with relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree in technical or science field.

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
