In the Centre-Val-de-Loire region, 1H30 from Paris and less than 1 hour from Orléans, Otis is looking for its Supplier quality Pilot (M/F) to integrate one of our entities located in Gien: our European production and modernization center, which develops and supplies complete equipment and components as well as products for the modernization of existing lifts.

Within the EMEA quality organization, you ensure that during the development phase, the quality of the products purchased or subcontracted corresponds to the specifications. You make available manufacturing products that meet specifications. You improve the quality level of the products delivered by Gien suppliers and manage the achievement of the 0 defect in series.

During a typical day, you will need to:

Supplier Assessment and Qualification:

  • Perform quality audits at suppliers located in France.

  • Participate in the selection and validation of new French suppliers.

Supplier Performance Monitoring:

  • Follow up on the performance gaps related to suppliers in responsibility (PPM & OTD)

  • Analyze non-conformities and manage corrective action plans.

Supplier claims Management:

  • Handle quality issues related to purchased components.

  • Facilitate cause analyzes (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why) and follow up on corrective actions.

PPAP Management:

  • Review and validate production Part Approval Process (PPAP) records submitted by suppliers.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements before launching into production.

Operational Quality Support:

· Intervene directly on production lines when a non-conformity is suspected or confirmed to be supplier related.

· Identify, isolate, and block any doubtful and/or non-conforming batches to protect production flow and internal customers.

· Collaborate with production teams to secure affected areas and prevent defect propagation.

· Perform rapid on-site assessments, document deviations, and initiate immediate containment actions with suppliers or internal stakeholders.

· Ensure clear, timely communication of findings and next steps to Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Support suppliers in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Support for internal teams:

  • Work closely with the Purchasing, production and R&D teams

  • Provide quality support during product development phases.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Engineering, industrial manufacturing or purchasing processes knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of ISO9001

  • Know how to manage priorities

  • Knowledge of the system requirements of a quality process

  • Basic knowledge of problem-solving tools type AMDEC, 8D, SPC, …

Your command of English will be additional advantage.
