Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supplier Quality (SQ) organization is seeking a Superintendent (M Level) to join our SQ Program Facing Leadership Team in Renton, WA.

The selected candidate will lead and manage the teams responsible for 737 SQ investigations to include Pre-flight and Delivery and Renton's component/reliability software lab.  This individual will be driving rapid communication, containment and elevation of supplier caused issues to support the 737-production system.  They will interface closely with the supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams on the program, and serve as the key integrator for quality issues affecting the program with the supplier, supply chain, and supplier quality representatives globally.

Position responsibilities:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of managers with employees performing supplier quality investigation and containment

  • Interface closely with the production system teams on the program

  • Understanding business objectives, strategies, and conditions affecting all areas of Boeing’s business

  • Communicate and convey supplier quality status and actions to improve; to include monitoring and acting to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team

  • Providing education and coaching on connecting the supplier quality and corrective action system to all stakeholders

  • Developing and maintaining partnering relationships with program leaders, supplier quality and supply chain stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports

  • Lead lean and process improvement activities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience as a first line manager

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly, listen actively, and respond thoughtfully

  • Experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner

  • Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures

  • Proficient in Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Systematic Problem Solving

  • Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability, Communication, Continuous Improvement, Customer Focus, Managing Conflict, Building Positive Relationship, Ethical Leadership

  • Demonstrated skills in Team Building, Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation
