Lloyd's UK: London Full time

Lloyd’s is the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance marketplace. We share the collective intelligence and risk sharing expertise of the market’s brightest minds, working together for a braver world.

Our role is to inspire courage, so tomorrow’s progress isn’t limited by today’s risks.

Our shared values: we are brave; we are stronger together; we do the right thing; guide what we do and how we act. If you share our values and our passion to build a future that’s more sustainable, resilient and inclusive, you’ll find a home at Lloyd’s – build a braver future with us.

We’re looking for a Supplier Oversight Manager to own and embed how we work with suppliers across Lloyd’s. This is a high‑impact role with real influence, helping us manage risk, build resilience and deliver value where it matters most.
In this role, you’ll lead our Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) operating model, making sure it’s clear, consistent and proportionate across our full supplier base. You’ll set the standards, guide the organisation and give leaders confidence that our most important supplier relationships are working as they should.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll focus on what matters, and be brilliant at it.
  • Owning and evolving Lloyd’s organisation‑wide SRM framework, using a tiered and proportionate approach.
  • Defining governance and oversight for strategic, material and critical suppliers, with clear expectations for ownership, performance and engagement.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to embed strong SRM practices, offering guidance, challenge and support.
  • Strengthening supplier risk and resilience oversight, working closely with Risk and Third‑Party Risk teams.
  • Setting the approach to supplier performance and value, including KPIs, scorecards and improvement plans.
  • Providing clear insight and assurance to Procurement leadership on supplier health, risks and opportunities.
  • Acting as a capability lead within Procurement, influencing without authority and building trust through expertise.

What you’ll bring

We’re open to different backgrounds and career paths. What matters most is how you think, how you work with others and the impact you make.
You’ll bring:
  • Proven experience managing strategic or critical suppliers in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • A strong understanding of tiered and proportionate supplier relationship management.
  • Experience designing and embedding frameworks or centres of excellence across organisations.
  • Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and challenging constructively when needed.
  • A commercial mindset, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and deliver results.
