Job Summary:
The Supplier Operations Specialist leads the Control Tower scope (the main part of the job), with the primary goal of protecting and optimizing the gross profit of our business through effective commercial controls and end-to-end follow-up of key supplier programmes and business processes, in close alignment with Product Management and suppliers. The role prepares analyses, presentations, reports, and data for internal and external use. It requires a close communication and interaction with Data Management, Supplier & Product Management, Purchasing, Controlling, Finance, and Internal Sales teams.
What You'll be Doing:
Control Tower:
The Control Tower scope will be the main part of the role and includes the following core responsibilities:
Gross profit protection, optimization and recovery.
Supplier incentive follow-up and reporting.
Contract master maintenance.
End-to-End controlling and reporting of supplier stock return process
End-to-End controlling and in special case, manage supplier price protection process
Gross margin adjustments
Ship & Debit control
Identification, development and implementation of new tools and automation for Control Tower tasks
Close liaison with Data Management and Product Managers to ensure regular data maintenance and develop a maximum of data integrity in SAP and Digital Portal (FSP)
Coordinate and monitor Product Management processes related to margin and profitability, track deviations and exceptions, and ensure timely investigation, escalation and closure in line with agreed procedures.
Regularly follow up and initiate necessary actions, based on agreed processes and frequency, assign it to pre-defined teams in Product Management.
Review, update and develop internal processes and reporting tools.
Ensure regular updates, the data integrity and development of all Product Management reporting and knowledge tools.
Additional Tasks:
Special Process / Business Handling (e.g. Fulfilment/LogOn).
Coordinate Material creation & maintenance and Price List Processing with MDM.
On request, maintenance and improvement of material data in SAP.
On request, prepare supplier QBR presentation standard slide sets, network share reporting, or supplier reporting.
Prepare & maintain supplier information for use within the company via the Intranet & on request prepare data for External use with the Marketing Communication team.
Support the preparation of internal communication in agreement with Product Management Leaders.
Prepare Market observation and classification numbers (Supplier network share, TAM & DTAM share).
Substitution for colleagues as requested.
Special office tasks & projects as required.
Respond to all incoming requests for assistance and support within 24 hours or effectively delegate and communicate the shift of ownership if the request is not within the remit of your responsibility.

Communicate effectively, written & oral, in English. Other languages would be an advantage.
Previous experience in Accounting/Controlling and/or a Purchasing or a Business Operations role in electronic components distribution would be advantageous.
Commercial degree OR combination of commercial vocational training and several years of experience.
