Job Summary: This SUPERVISORY SPECIAL MISSION AVIATOR (INSTRUCTOR) position, is located in an Air National Guard (ANG) Aviation Unit, Operations Directorate and is part of the CA 129 RQW.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: General Experience: Possess experience, education or training in preparing aircraft loading plans; knowledge of aircraft weight and balance computations; aircraft performance data; aircraft records maintenance; and aircraft systems; and knowledge of aircraft systems and component. SUPERVISORY SPECIAL MISSION AVIATOR (INSTRUCTOR), GS-2185-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: planning, organizing and directing activities of Special Mission Aviator (Instructors); Balancing workload and providing advice, guidance, and direction on a wide range of flight engineer and administrative issues; Ensuring metrics are established and monitored to assess key result areas for successful mission accomplishment; and ensures all requisites involved in mission planning are ascertained and all necessary coordination is accomplished.
