Job Summary: You will serve as the Regional Cognizant Security Authority (RCSA) responsible for physical, personnel, and information security disciplines for intelligence related information and systems. You will execute and implement the policies and procedures governing the protection of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) facilities, operations, information, and material. This position is located at NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY in Naples, Italy.

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as Regional representative for the Naval Intelligence Cognizant Security Representative (NAVINTEL CSA) carrying out oversight and compliance as delegated by Head of Intelligence Community Unit (HICE) authority.
  • You will interact with managers and senior planners on a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices for managing and directing complex security programs.
  • You will lead self-inspections, staff assistance visits, and visual Telecommunications Electronics Material Protected from Emanating Spurious Transmissions (TEMPEST) inspections.
  • You will conduct inspections of permanent, temporary, and tactical aircraft, ship, shore, and submarine based Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) facilities to maintain SCI Security Operations.
  • You will review and inspect Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DODIIS) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate implementation and compliance for all commands within geographic area of responsibility.
  • You will employ technical security and procurement expertise in the review of contract security requirements.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties such as: Manage Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security program equities and represent the organization to senior level internal and external customers; Conduct physical, technical, and industrial security inspections and effectively apply requirements for the protection of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) assets; Apply Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) personnel security principles and methods to process investigations and policy reviews; Manage and maintain personnel and physical security databases; Develop and administer Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security training and briefings; Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.
