Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the Weapon System (WS) Systems Analysis Section Head within Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program office leading development of Navy's Hypersonic Weapon System.
  • You will manage and supervise a team of engineers, setting priorities, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely project completion, while providing guidance and conducting performance evaluations.
  • You will provide programmatic direction and coordination for acquisition of Modeling and Simulation, Hardware-in-the-loop, Digital Infrastructure, and Software, in support of WS Verification and Validation.
  • You will represent the organization in meetings with external stakeholders, other government agencies, contractors, making decisions that impact the development, performance, and fielding of the WS.
  • You will ensure compliance with government directives and policies, interpret technical specifications and contracts, and implement local standards for hardware and software related to the WS.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading stakeholders through analyzing various lifecycle phases of a complex weapon system and/or applying programmatic discipline to meet mission objectives.
