Salary Range: $169001 - $197200 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Program Office of BASE REALIGNMENT AND CLOSURE PMO.

Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for the overall management of base realignment, closure, environmental cleanup, and property disposal actions.
  • You will provides direct program oversight for regional offices and offers advisement on BRAC matters to key senior leaders across NAVFAC, the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), and the offices of the Assistant Secretaries of the Navy and Defense.
  • You will serve as the DON BRAC Program's representative to Congress, DoD, and other external stakeholders, preparing official testimony and reports.
  • You will manage internal program execution, overseeing data integrity for congressional budgets, conducting program reviews, and directing intergovernmental coordination
  • You will lead a diverse team in developing and executing BRAC business plans, while managing the program's entire financial lifecycle from budget creation to congressional submission.
  • You will direct all operational functions, including environmental remediation, real estate disposal, and the oversight of all financial and property audits.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing daily operations for a large, geographically-dispersed Program Management Office; Managing all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process; Interfacing with senior leaders, including Flag Officers, Senior Executive Service (SES), and members of Congress; Applying superior skills in program management, policy development, and risk management to achieve organizational goals; and Guiding regional offices and functional teams to ensure proper resource management and strategic alignment.
