Salary Range: $106437 - $138370 Per Year

Job Summary: Organizational Location: These positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), in multiple locations specified in this announcement. Salary: The salary range indicated in this announcement will be adjusted to include locality payment for selected duty location. Major Duties:

The duty location extended at the final job offer will be based on the needs of the Agency and availability of positions and funding. As a Supervisory Mission Support Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Evaluate the performance of mission support activities responsible for planning, managing, and/or evaluating all administrative functions (e.g., budget, procurement, human resources, property, fleet, etc.) within the field office. Provide guidance to personnel at all levels of complex administrative matters. Analyze workflow throughout the organization to identify need for process improvement measures. Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates based on capabilities commensurate with mission requirements. Coordinate interagency solutions on issues, programs, policies, or processes in relation to the administrative functions of the organization.

Specialized Experience: You must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service that included performing at least 3 of the following: Supervising and/or overseeing staff responsible for managing various administrative functions (e.g., budget, procurement, human resources, property, fleet, travel, etc.) to maintain operational standards. Conducting comprehensive analyses of organizational workflows to provide leadership with data-driven insights for decision-making. Developing innovative strategies to resolve complex administrative issues impacting the organization. Establishing long-term goals for administrative functions to guide organizational planning and/or resource allocation. Setting short-term priorities for assigned office to meet the changing needs of the organization. Time-in-Grade Requirements: Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under a non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet "time-in-grade" requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying). Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to current employees applying for a Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment. NOTE: All current or former Federal employees must provide a copy of their SF-50 (you may need to submit more than one), "Notice of Personnel Action" that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. The SF-50 must include your position, title, series, grade, step, tenure (1 or 2), and type of service (Competitive or Excepted).
