Job Summary: You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the QUALITY ASSURANCE ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT BRANCH of PSNS and IMF.

Major Duties:

  • You will be the principal advisor to the Quality Assurance Department Head and mangers on management policies and programs, administrative matters, personnel, and the department point of contact.
  • You will be responsible for analyzing technical, quality, administrative, financial and scheduling data/information related to PSNS and IMF QAO nuclear and non-nuclear workload, training, resource utilization and budget.
  • You will research, interpret, analyze and apply the appropriate guidelines, policies, and regulations to all tasks.
  • You will establish policies for the division and assist the Director and Deputy Director with establishing policies for the department; reviewing, writing and updating Standard Operating Procedures.
  • You will identify requirements and initiate requests for additional resources including personnel, overtime, equipment, supplies, and space to ensure success in meeting goals and objectives.
  • You will be responsible to plan, organize, analyze, review and conduct studies involving the development, installation, and audit of department operations to maximize utilization of personnel and material resources.
  • You will plan, develop, recommend and evaluate current and long-range programs that involve the QAO department as related to Navy maintenance issues.
  • You will be accountable for ensuring that manpower and material costs are directly linked to program mission objectives.
  • You will conduct complex studies that will improve department operations, scheduling, manning and/or ?nancial management resulting in cost reduction and/or productivity improvements.
  • You will serve as the senior budget and financial analyst for the department.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing analytical planning, developing, and evaluating of long-range programs, budgets, and policies to improve the operational efficiency of an organization.
