Salary Range: $143677 - $197200 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN) in the CYBER/SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, administrative and technical management and supervision of a complex team of scientists and engineers on various branch projects and conducting supervisory activities at the first level.
  • You will apply s knowledge in antenna design for the resolution of problems, development of approaches and settlement of conflicting assignments.
  • You will perform work that involves directly managing antenna design, prototyping, and production projects and provides advice and guidance on specific technical aspects of systems or concept development.
  • You will provide technical, project management, and contract oversight of branch antenna projects, as requested by and under the guidance of the division head, setting employee performance expectations and evaluating employee contributions.
  • You will serve as part of the division Leadership Team and participate in the formulation and implementation of the Division Business Plan, program development, technical and administrative objectives.

Qualifications: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NM-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading a team and providing research, analysis, systems engineering, design, development, and/or test and evaluation of antennas/RF systems, lead or participate in division and/or department councils, special projects, or working groups, and participate in strategic planning efforts for the division and/or department.
