Job Summary: About the Position: Serves as Deputy Director for Cold Regions Research Engineer Laboratory (CRREL) located in Hanover, NH This position is being filled as a Supervisory Interdisciplinary DB-05 (GS-15), which may be filled under any of the listed Job Family series. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

This position is covered by the Science and Technology Laboratory Personnel Management Demonstration Project at the DB-05 (equivalent to GS-15). In accordance with the Federal Register Vol. 63, No. 57, dated March 25, 1998, an employee of the Laboratory Demonstration project must have a current average performance score of 2.5 or above in order to be selected for promotion.
