Major Duties:

  • You will apply expert knowledge of the Intelligence Community’s (IC) sources and methods to perform oversight on highly complex all-source analysis on a wide variety of foreign maritime issues impacting collection initiatives.
  • You will plan, task, monitor and review in-depth foreign maritime assessments in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) customers.
  • You will ensure full manning and the application of all appropriate retention strategies.
  • You will collaborate with peers and executive-level officials across the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and Navy communities to secure concurrence on strategic-level analysis that inform decision-making by leadership.
  • You will oversee Special Access Program (SAP) and Controlled Access Program (CAP) physical and personnel security requirements.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: Provide technical and administrative supervision to junior level intelligence professionals responsible for providing time-sensitive and long-term foreign threat analysis in support of Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) professionals; Plan, task, monitor, and review in-depth foreign maritime assessments, in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) regulations Collaborate and coordinate with peers and executive-level officials across the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and Navy communities to secure inter-agency and inter-command concurrence on strategic level analysis that informs decision-making by Combatant Commander (COCOM), Secretary of Defense, and National Security Council leadership; Plan, direct, assign, lead, and monitor the work of staff members to improve execution of maritime collection initiatives. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
