Salary Range: $131310 - $170708 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INSPECTOR GENERAL in the Inspector General's Office of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.

Major Duties:

  • You will plan, organize, direct, and provide analysis of all matters in the conduct of investigations, or inquiries directed by Commander, United States Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (COMMARFORPAC).
  • You will maintain full responsibility for the management and direction of the Office of the Inspector General and its programs.
  • You will establish and monitor the MARFORPAC inspections program, coordinating all planning, scheduling, execution, reporting, and follow-up requirements.
  • You will review inspection reports of the Inspector General of the Marine Corps, subordinate commanders, and any other pertinent reports for required corrective action or referral to appropriate staff sections for action.
  • You will coordinate the training of United States Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) inspectors to ensure uniformity and fairness of inspection formats and proper reporting of inspection results.
  • You will monitor, coordinate, and oversee the implementation and management of the intelligence oversight programs within MARFORPAC Enterprise
  • You will monitor DoD Policy on Trafficking in Persons within MARFORPAC Enterprise by providing leadership via assessments, inspections, and investigations.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting investigations into waste, fraud, and abuse; managing privacy and freedom of information requirements in connection with internal investigations; conducting fact-finding via interviews, review of appropriate records, and data analysis; and briefing senior leadership on investigation outcomes and recommended courses of action.
