Major Duties:

To qualify for this position at the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level obtained in the public sector. (Specialized experience is paid or unpaid experience which has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.) Examples of specialized experience include such duties as: Developing short- and long-term strategic vision, technical roadmaps, and future resourcing. In addition, directing and executing efforts to convey complex information concerning programs, activities, and services on a variety of IT systems and applications. Supervising a staff of IT specialists at the GS-14 level and below, that performs work that includes designing, deploying, testing, maintaining, and Selective Placement Factor administering on-prem and cloud systems, networks, and services. Experienced in developing and implementing enhancements and continuous improvements towards IT systems, infrastructure, workflows, and processes. Knowledgeable and experienced in implementing and sustaining critical IT Engineering and cloud architecture, system lifecycle management, network infrastructure, and software management.
