Major Duties:

  • You will assign work to ·subordinates based on priorities, the difficulty of the work to be performed, and the capabilities of employees.
  • You will prepare capital investment plans to support the organization's mission.
  • You will maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program for diverse platforms that covers file backup and recovery, equipment maintenance, and quality control of system processing and outputs.
  • You will maintain currency in the appropriate developments of customer related information technology and recommend solutions.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing the full lifecycle of Information Technology (IT) projects to fulfill mission requirements while anticipating and tailoring solutions to customer needs; 2) Leading or supervising IT personnel by reviewing their work for accuracy and ensuring accountability for cost-effective, high-quality outcomes; 3) Analyzing complex networks and cybersecurity challenges to protect information systems and solve sensitive technical problems; and, 4) Briefing senior-level management by providing expert guidance and translating complex IT concepts for non-technical audiences.
