Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the Director/Program Manager.
  • You will be responsible for managing installation activities, programs, and services required to support the SCSC installation requirements and interaction with Wallops Installation managers.
  • You will provide leadership, managerial, and technical guidance over responsible areas.
  • You will identify specific requirements for funding, manpower, supplies, facilities, and services as needed to sufficiently operate installation programs and the directorate.
  • You will direct planning activities ensuring support services are efficiently and effectively provided.
  • You will analyze relationships between support/program elements and review organizational structure and operating procedures to ensure that quality, efficient, and effective support/services are provided.
  • You will provide general guidance to the subordinate Managers to ensure customer support is responsive and deadlines are met.
  • You will interpret and implement policies and regulations for resolving issues involved with programs.
  • You will be responsible for the management of the directorate's budget, and operation in the development of budget requirements and planning documents.
  • You will perform personnel management duties.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-03 (GS-13) pay band or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent service in the public or private sector as a professional engineer managing program or project requirements (e.g. resource allocation, manpower, strategic planning, risk assessments, project planning and schedules, workforce performance, budget planning, development and execution, process improvement, quality assurance, and financial management) to support installation activities for the improvement of workflow provided by the directorate.
