Salary Range: $127646 - $195190 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the Carrier Planning Acitivty of CARRIER PLANNING ACTIVITY.

Major Duties:

  • You will assign work to subordinate personnel, ensuring timely completion and quality of work, resolving conflicts and overlapping functions between technical personnel and other organizational entities, and coordinating the work of personnel.
  • You will meet regularly with managers/leads to be briefed on status of work in progress, including the achievement of program goals.
  • You will direct, coordinate, or oversee work of subordinate supervisors, managers, and leads.
  • You will plan work to be accomplished, set and adjust short-term and long-term priorities, and prepare work schedules.
  • You will be responsible for accuracy, currency, and completeness of technical products developed by the Carrier Planning Activity for the Carrier Maintenance Community.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer providing supervisory oversight in technical engineering environments to lead complex systems engineering initiatives related to aircraft carrier maintenance.
