Salary Range: $125431 - $192694 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a Branch Head in the Aviation Data Management and Control System (ADMACS) Software (SW) & Infrastructure Branch (BL13200) in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Major Duties:

  • You will oversee aspects of design, fielding, software, infrastructure development, and cybersecurity expertise with regard to the Aviation Data Management and Control System (ADMACS) and related future systems developed within the branch.
  • You will develop and mentor personnel for assignment to teams.
  • You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
  • You will incorporate customer needs and corporate goals in decisions affecting the Branch.
  • You will ensure that the branch have the tools, personnel, facilities and information required to accomplish their assigned tasks.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03/GS-9-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Leading a team of technical personnel responsible for the planning and execution of comprehensive life cycle acquisition/sustainment efforts to deliver Aircraft Launch & Recovery Equipment solutions within program objectives for cost, schedule and performance. 2) Performing team lead or management functions to plan and execute the allocation of resources, development of personnel, direction of engineering work, and evaluation of performance. 3) Managing priorities and developing tactical resource plans to facilitate project execution for the technical portfolio. 4) Providing assistance in solving particularly complex problems which are problems beyond their experience, or may impact funding, scheduling or other programs and organizations priorities. 5) Ensuring guidance, processes, and tools are in place and utilized to enable personnel to effectively execute assigned work. 6) Developing competencies of personnel to effectively contribute to and meet organizational and program objectives.
