Job Summary: About the Position: This position is located within the Ireland Army Health Clinic at Fort Knox, KY. Serves as Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist responsible is a Medical Treatment Facility, responsible for facility management operations locally and throughout a large servicing area. Plan and coordinate requirements and complex projects to maintain patient care buildings.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes includes managing Medical facilities, joint commissions audits, schedules, utilities management, safety, custodial services, maintenance contracts, and service orders; tracking program funding and providing feedback to the senior management on budget execution; and conducting inspections of contracted work and implementing any corrective actions, implementing Joint Commission duties to ensure compliance with medical facility standards through meticulous inspections and thorough audits. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
