Job Summary: You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the Military Support Branch Head exercising full supervisory authority and providing strategic leadership over a diverse team of civilian, military and contractor personnel.
  • You will direct a multifaceted branch responsible for command-essential military administrative functions, ensuring their efficient integration and compliance with all higher-level directives, Navy policy and command directives.
  • You will assign work, establishes priorities, evaluates performance, and ensures compliance.
  • You will provide dedicated supervisory oversight to the military administrative personnel assigned to the command’s Front Office (CO, XO, ED), ensuring the highest level of administrative support and responsiveness for executive-level operations.
  • You will lead the execution of policies across assigned programs, ensuring personnel complete mandatory training, security requirements, and adhere to internal guidance that aligns operations with mission objectives.
  • You will plan and prioritize work assignments for subordinates based on workload, complexity, and individual capabilities.
  • You will manage the planning, execution, evaluation, and oversight of military administrative support functions throughout the command.
  • You will direct command-wide workflows for critical military personnel functions, including evaluations, awards, leave administration, pay and personnel transactions, career counseling, legal processing, and deployment readiness.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing and evaluating the effectiveness of administrative programs, policies, and procedures by recommending and resolving program issues within an organization.
