Job Details:
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for managing the receiving penning and moving of cattle to the slaughter department in a humane manner; for quality and safety; any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management. The individual in this position must work closely with the management team in achieving objectives accept full accountability assignments and day-to-day department responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 2 plus years in Kill Floor preferred; must have general knowledge of production operations and techniques; food safety; product yields and USDA regulations.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills; bilingual helpful.
Other Requirements: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
Supervisory: This position is responsible for the supervision of production Team Members.
Travel: 0 - 10 .
