DESCRIPTION:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Supply Chain Supervisor and contribute to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

As Supervisor, Supply Chain, you will lead day-to-day warehouse execution to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time material flow that supports manufacturing and customer delivery commitments. • Manage outbound shipping execution as applicable (packing, staging, documentation, carrier coordination) while maintaining cGMP and safety expectations.
  • Perform and/or oversee SAP/WMS transactions required for receipts, transfers, inventory movements, and shipment activities; troubleshoot system issues and escalate as needed.
  • Maintain cGMP/Good Documentation Practices and site safety requirements at all times; ensure controlled and temperature-sensitive materials are handled per procedure.
  • Own warehouse documentation and standard work: create, review, revise, and/or develop SOPs and work instructions; ensure training is current and effective.
  • Coordinate material handling equipment readiness (forklifts, pallet jacks, drum dollies, etc.); initiate work orders and serve as point of contact with Facilities and contractors for maintenance and repairs.
  • Partner with Quality, EH&S, Operations, Planning, and Procurement to resolve material issues, support audits/inspections, and execute continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/5S).
  • Support hazardous waste and materials handling/disposal activities in partnership with EH&S; ensure proper segregation and documentation.
