Supervisor - Respiratory Care

Full-time, third shift, four (4) 10-hour shifts per week

Occasional Friday or Sunday coverage to support weekend staff

Job Description:

The Supervisor, Respiratory Care provides onshift leadership, clinical oversight, and operational support to ensure safe, efficient, and highquality respiratory care. This role serves as the team lead and supervisor for the shift worked, supporting staff, managing assignments, overseeing orientation and education, and acting as the primary clinical and operational resource for the department. This role does not independently oversee, initiate, or manage disciplinary actions. All disciplinary or corrective action matters are reviewed and managed in collaboration with the Respiratory Care Manager in accordance with HR policy.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in respiratory therapy or related field.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical respiratory therapy experience with demonstrated critical care experience, including NICU and adult critical care or demonstrated leadership or charge/lead experience within the department

  • Active KY license through the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care (KBRC)

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

  • BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days; must obtain ACLS, NRP, and PALS within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
