Join our collaborative team as a Receiving Supervisor where you'll coordinate with a team of 12 Technicians to ensure optimal efficiency in managing critical pharmaceutical supplies. An ideal candidate is highly energetic, engaged in improving safety, quality, delivery and cost, and has experience working in a receiving dock environment. Requires supervising a team, and in-depth knowledge of receiving inbound goods requirements. Requires Forklift experience to include certification.
Responsibilities
• Maintains all Receiving areas under Good Manufacturing Principles and standards.
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision (4 l's), Role Model Leadership (RML)
and Practical Process Improvements (PPI).
• Oversees and reports on KPl's for all Receiving areas at Tier 1 and Tier 2 standup
meetings. Provides metric updates to Warehouse Mgr. as needed in the areas of safety,
quality, training, executable receipts, PRs, etc.
• Ensures quality standards are maintained by all Receiving personnel in all phases of
Receiving processes by adherence to SOPs.
• Oversees Receiving personnel in the processing of all incoming shipments including
drug product, production/packaging supplies, components, ancillary supplies, tools, etc.
in a timely and accurate manner in the support of Warehouse, Production and
Distribution operations.
• Provides oversight of all phases of the drug weigh-in process. These include drug
receipt and identification procedure, daily balance checks, room cleaning, nonconformance
reporting and employee gowning requirements.
• Ensures that Receiving personnel perform all necessary tasks such as unloading trucks,
unpacking, inspecting, reconciling, labeling, photographing, archiving and uploading of
paper and electronic documents, and damage and excursion reporting, in order to
prepare materials for QA inspections.
• Oversees Receiving areas and activities to ensure inventory is properly and safely
stored and that all personnel are operating in a safe and orderly manner. Reports safety
concerns and incidents at Tier Boards and escalates to Management as needed
• Ensures product is maintained in multiple customer based electronic systems and
follows client operating procedures.
• Ensures all inventory is properly and safely stored in respective controlled ambient,
refrigerated, frozen, high security, and controlled-substance environments at both
facilities.
• Promotes lean, 5S and PPI methodologies and engagement by all employees in order to
increase throughput, reduce waste, improve efficiencies, and lower costs.
• Uses problem solving abilities to resolve discrepancies with systems, operational issues,
and quality deviations and concerns. Escalates to Warehouse and QA Mgmt as needed.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks and multi-tasking to assure the team's goals are met.
• Responsible for the goal-setting, training, coaching, and monitoring of all Receiving
employees through the PMD process. Provides frequent feedback in addition to midyear
and year-end reviews. Documents progress relative to goals, and compliance with
FCS policies and procedures and the FCS 4-1 Culture. Administers Performance
Improvement Plans and discipline as appropriate.
• Follows all FCS standard operating procedures and maintains the training and retraining
when applicable.
• Revises/creates SOPs to incorporate procedural and administrative changes for the
purpose of overall quality and compliance.
• Initiate/write/review/approve/ and submit Deviations, Complaints, CAPAs, Audit
Observations, Change Controls, etc. in the TrackWise system as needed to support the
documentation and resolution of all Receiving-related quality issues.
• Oversees the Delivery Acknowledgement Queue (DAQ) dashboard and process along
with Group Lead and Inbound Coordinators to ensure timely execution of receipts based
on Production and Distribution priorities as communicated by Project Managers.
• Oversees CODA process for receipt of purchased materials and assists in securing
missing documentation.
• Processes payroll in E-Time system for all direct reports and monitors employee
compliance with FCS attendance and vacation policies.
• Capable of recognizing areas of improvement and implementing change when needed.
• Attends all required management meetings and training when scheduled and takes on
additional tasks willingly and as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• HIgh School Diploma or equivalent.
5 years of receiving/warehouse experience and a minimum of 5 years of supervisory skills or equivalent.
Must have reliable transporation and a valid driver's license. Must be forklift certified or have the ability to be certified.

• Capable of speaking in front of direct reports while showing leadership skills.
• Prior pharmaceutical experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills within a department or interdepartmental.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications.

• Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong problem solving and investigative skills.
• Able to follow and address FCS Disciplinary Policy issues when needed.

• Mastery of skills required to read, understand, and adhere to the SOPs and policies of a
GMP environment.
• Can manage personnel in a cGMP environment.
Physical Requirements
• Standing, bending, reaching, walking, and talking.
• Lifting up to 451bs occasionally, and 20lbs regularly.
• The position is exposed to cold temperatures, below 32 degrees, up to one hour at a
time.
