This full time position will have oversight and rotate to multiple locations including JMA, Bethel, Waterfront and Brentwood offices.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Provides supervision of staff and area functions; serves as a physician liaison. Performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department, develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority. (50%)
• Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary. (20%)
• Assures all  documentation for procedures, e.g. regulatory, billing protocol, and imaging distribution. (20%)
• Implements radiation safety and patient safety standards.(10%)
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

• 3 years as an Imaging Technologist in any discipline
• Radiography Certification and Registration OR Nuclear Medical Technology Certification and Registration (NMTCB) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) issued by the (ARDMS)

• CPR – American Heart Association

• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate

• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Preferred

• Associate’s Degree in any Imaging discipline
