Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8A-4:30P, Hybrid (Onsite + Remote)

SUMMARY
The Supervisor, Quality - ElderONE is responsible for guiding leadership in clinical quality and performance improvement based on data gathered. Develops and improves best practice across ElderONE services. Analyzes and reports data to the appropriate affiliate’s departments and committees. This position supports and collaborates with ElderONE leadership, and ensures optimal daily operations of the ElderONE Quality Team.

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Direct the activities of the Quality Team to support Service Managers and Operations Directors in the monitoring and embedding of an ongoing person centered and quality improvement culture throughout the organization.

  • Responsible for direct reports, approve payroll and scheduling requests, yearly performance appraisals, etc.

  • Be an ambassador for the Region, Division and the Priority Group on quality, communicating key initiatives and driving the message of the importance of quality across all sites within the region.

  • Exercise strong practice leadership in a style and manner consistent with the company’s values, sharing best practice, positively influencing colleagues at all levels, and encouraging reflective practice and a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Working with Senior Leadership, develop and implement appropriate professional standards and monitor adherence to policies and procedures at all levels within the division to ensure continued compliance.

  • Take an active role in developing staff through orientation, mentoring, and motivating, monitoring and coaching QSI Team members to ensure they are delivering services of the optimum quality

  • Develop, manage, and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders in regards to complaints and incidents. Take a strategic overview of all issues relating to health, safety, regulatory compliance and service quality using early warning indicators, data and soft intelligence available within the division

  • Build strong relationships with all decision makers and stakeholders.

  • Under the direction of Senior Leadership, support individuals and services to achieve quality improvement objectives and recommendations for RRH.

  • Exercise strong leadership in a style and manner consistent with the company’s values, sharing best practice, positively influencing colleagues at all levels, and encouraging reflective practice and a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Train new employees, conduct training for existing employees on new procedures/SOPS.

  • Partners with Extended Care and System Quality team members to collaborate and advance quality initiatives.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality or Patient Safety required


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree preferred

  • Experience working with regulatory systems (Ex, The Joint Commission,) preferred.

  • Certification in Quality Management preferred.

  • At least 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred

  • Strong organizational skills to manage projects, timetables, and implementations

  • Interpersonal skills to manage, direct, and coordinate activities.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Analytical ability to develop and interpret application of best practices and outcome metrics

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in methods of improvement, theories of change, and current concepts of team building.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
