Safely monitor and supervise all site operations and employees while ensuring all equipment is in proper working order. Provide leadership, which results in positive employee/employer relations. Project a professional corporate image, effective resource management, a sound risk management program, high production standards and business expansion and profitable operations.
May 4 to Nov 22 (with option to continue into December)
Key Responsibilities:
Normal duties during the week. On the weekend: Leading and supporting daily operations.
Champion a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations.
Great communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to actively listen and treat others with respect and dignity while coaching them toward success.
Strong knowledge of the Stevenage facility.
Strong computer skills
Being punctual and presentable
Preferred: Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driver abstract.
Preferred: Forklift license certification
Schedule and conduct safety meetings and document attendees and topics covered. Ensure employees follow safety guidelines and perform duties in a safe manner.
Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent leadership, communication and management skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instruction and procedure manuals.
Ability to satisfactorily perform all duties required.
Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
