What you will do:

The Supervisor is responsible for oversight of all aspects of Samaritan Hospital Outpatient Mental Health. The supervisor will ensure that best practices are standardized and in place throughout the division and hold staff accountable to these best practices and standards. The Supervisor will also ensure that supervision is in place for all locations to ensure professional growth of the staff and quality transitions of care are occurring.

Responsibilities:

  • Work involves management of multiple priorities
  • Triaging of sensitive client issues
  • Assist the manager and operations team in supporting the day-to-day needs of the clinic staff and patients.
  • Coordination among multiple service lines and organizations

What you will need:

  • Master's degree in Social Work is required.
  • NYS LCSW licensure is required.
  • 5 years of full-time experience in which clinical competence and administrative management skills have been demonstrated in a leadership role is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, including decision-making, coaching, teaching and counseling; ability to inspire and build confidence in others and to forge alliances and garner support.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to resolve complex administrative, technical or human situations, to anticipate and resolve a broad range of issues on multiple, sometimes unrelated, topics, to determine the need for process development and revision, to independently evaluate situations and articulate ramifications of multiple solutions, and to recommend goals.

Pay Range: $33.10 - $47.53

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
