Overview:
Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Supervisor, Laboratory Consumer Services to work full time days with Laboratory Services.
*This is a hybrid position
Overview
The Supervisor, Laboratory Consumer Services is responsible for overseeing daily operations for client services and ensuring an exceptional client experience. This role works closely with Billing, Sales, Technology, and Laboratory Operations teams to manage client onboarding, account data integrity, customer service performance, and outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and experienced in managing service teams within a healthcare or laboratory environment.
Education
- High School Education (Required)
- Associates Degree (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in client services, customer service management, or operational leadership, in a laboratory or healthcare setting.
- Experience working with EHR systems (e.g., Epic), CRM tools, and customer service platforms (preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across departments.
